Transparancy of Energy Demand

When you talk about energy demand, it is easy to immediately think about your annual energy bill. This bill often specifies how much gas and electricity was used that year by your house or company.

But to be honest, this can hardly be called a real specification. You still have no idea for what purpose all this energy was used. Is the thermostat temperature set too high? Is much heat lost through my ventilation system? Do my employees open the windows in the winter? Would it make a difference if I would install double glazing? And the list goes on…

In our opinion, it is not possible to take effective energy saving measures without first answering all of the questions above. Without knowing where the bottlenecks are, it is impossible to solve those bottlenecks. By bringing transparency to the internal energy flows of your building, you acquire exactly this knowledge. This is valuable knowledge that can save you a lot of money on the short term.

Why invest in double glazing when the ventilation equipment is the real problem?

Our results will be presented in a format most suited to your wished. In many cases we will use (among others) the so-called Sankey diagram for this.

Examples of these diagrams can be found on this page. In this case they illustrate the energy flows in several swimming pools.
